Anyways, I wrote this about 8 months ago, and I was angered in the futility of everything and how MUCH of everything there was - its kinda hard to convey my mentality in words, but its paralleled in the short choppiness of the notes and the general sparseness of the song...

But I haven't put it up here until now because I figured that everyone on NG would hate it and there would be no point (and I wasn't let down ;). But recently I remembered that this is my showcase, it shouldn't be bound by what OTHER people think is good. So here it is.

For my part, I think it's a pretty good song. When I turn up the base its pretty creepy too...

I love your music

Padman, your music is fucking great. I like this track for its dark feel. I feel that some sort of bassline was needed...or if their was one, its volume was too low. I curious as to what programs, and synths you use. I like all your music, you are a very talented musician. I dont have a damn clue as to why you dont have many gold or platinum tracks. Keep up the great work man!

Thanks for the support man, I'm really happy that you liked it. There was a couple of basslines in there ;) I'll definitely check the levels! I often do silly things with mixing.
Hmm, as for my setup, I use Ableton and FL. My weapon of choice is the korg legacy collection, I also use Z3ta+ and Surge, such noble beasts. I think Korg Legacy Collection has been reduced dramatically in price, so if you can get a good deal I seriously recommend it.

Not Bad At All

Great beat, Great synths. The one thing that I believe could have made it better would be if you put some sort of gate on the main synth. At times it was too (painfully) much resonance, and at other times it dropped a little to low (it blocked out all the other sounds with its lower frenquencys. Otherwise, great track and keep it up. I hope this helps.

Dude, thanks a lot! Finally a review! Yeah, I think the same like you but unfortunately this was done a loooong time ago with FL Studio (then it still was Fruity Loops), and with an old version of the TS 404. I liked it then and rendered it but after upgrading to the newer version something was different about the TS 404 synth, and it sounded totally different. I actually tried to fix it, but couldn't make the TS 404 sound the same as before, and since all the synths were TS 404 there was nothing I could do. Very sad indeed but oh well, I have better stuff... Just not sure if I want to post all of it here. Thanks again for the review and may peace be on you :)

That was very intresting. I liked the few moments of glitch, and how it seemed to flow so well, eventhough it sounded like ALOT was going on. It reminded me of skinny puppy, which is a good thing to me.
